The 'Historic Washington' Print Series |
||
This series grew out of Robert Sivard's fascination with the Capital's historic past. As in other series he created, such as 'Artists in their Studios', Mr. Sivard researched the locations and populated them with the personalities of the time. He"created a window behind which history is being played" according to the New York Times. These prints are full-size, detailed reproductions on archival paper of the original paintings. They are available for purchase from the Sivard family in both signed/numbered and unsigned editions. Please contact us for further information. Click on each for a larger image and a description of its historical significance. |
